December meeting.

During our December meeting John Woolway gave a talk about a few budgerigars that he brought along with him. Among Johns favourite varieties are the dark factor budgies so he decided to bring in and base his talk around four dark factor birds. Everyone enjoyed, interacted and found the talk very interesting and we would like to thank John for his efforts.
Here at Cwmbran Newtown CBS. We hope to include features such as this to more and more of our monthly meeting which will hopefully attract new members.

Cwmbran CBS. held they’re annual general meeting on the 14th January 2013.
Although attendance was low the chairman’s, secretary’s and treasurers reports were positive and the general opinion on the clubs future was one of confidence.

August 15, 2012

Cwmbran Newtown C.B.S would like to thank Cinderford C.B.S for the invite to attend they’re quiz night.
6 members attended the quiz night on the 13th august 2012, along with members from Cirencester C.B.S and the Hosts.
The night went well, very entertaining, competitive, but at the same time quite light hearted with some good banter amongst the teams.
P.S. Cwmbran did manage a narrow victory ,but we did provide the quizmaster who should be congratulated on his efforts. Thanks Roy.
